Abstract: Objective We aim to investigate the practical methods and effects of hospital nursing manpower allocation under large temporary tasks and emergency situations of public emergencies. Methods A TFF nursing manpower deployment plan based on the principle of a three-level nursing management system, fixed and dedicated shift scheduling, and the assistance of flexible nurses was constructed. Under the condition of ensuring the normal work of in-hospital treatment, 936 nursing staff was flexibly deployed from the whole hospital to support large temporary tasks outside the hospital and emergency tasks of public emergencies. Results During the period of facing large temporary tasks, our hospital managed human resources from April to August 2022 on the basis of ensuring the quality and safety of in-hospital nursing work, and efficiently completed all emergency medical treatment tasks issued by the superior. The nursing staff was 95% satisfied with the manpower deployment program, and the SRQ questionnaire after reasonable manpower deployment showed that the nursing staff had good mental health status. Conclusion The TFF nursing manpower deployment program, with good operational effect, can smoothly cope with large temporary tasks like COVID-19, optimize nursing manpower organization and management, and complete large temporary rescue tasks in an efficient and orderly manner.

Abstract: Objective: Using the safety goggles to protect and treat the process of fog, powder or laser injury to the eyes, reduce noise and thus reduce the patient's discomfort. At the same time, pulse frequency and vital signs of patients can be detected during treatment to improve the safety of treatment. Methods: The device is a safety goggles for dental treatment that can monitor the pulse, including a mirror frame, a protective lens mounted on one side of the frame and a first elastic band and a second elastic band located at both ends of the frame. The first elastic band and the second elastic band are connected and fixed together. The first elastic band is provided with a holding box body near the frame, and the top of the holding box body is provided with a power switch, an audio switch and a pulse monitoring switch. The body of the containing box is provided with a control chip, a power supply component, a pulse sensor, a memory and an audio component. The control chip is electrically connected with the memory, a pulse sensor, an audio component, a speaker and a power supply component, and the audio component is electrically connected with the first earplug and the second earplug through the data cable. Results: A kind of safety goggles for dental treatment which can monitor pulse was successfully designed. The device is equipped with safety goggles, so as to prevent the air fog and other dirt damage to the eyes; Pulse sensor was set to obtain pulse signal; Earplugs with extendable length are suitable for individual differences and can improve the sound insulation effect. Conclusion: The safety goggles can solve the problems of harsh light source equipped with dental treatment chair, easy to splash the eyes with aerosol during operation, and loud noise of operating instruments. In addition, it can also monitor patients' vital signs in real time during tooth implantation and extraction and prevent sudden symptoms.

Abstract: Aim: It was designed to assess the current state of knowledge hiding behavior of nurses in Chinese public hospitals, to conduct an intensive study of the factors influencing nurses' knowledge hiding behavior and to construct a mediating effect model. Subjects and Methods: Quantitative cross-sectional descriptive design was used. A self-administered general information questionnaire was applied, and well-established scales included the Knowledge Hiding Scale, the Psychological Ownership of Knowledge Scale, the Job Insecurity Scale, and the Positive Emotional Climate in Teams Scale. Data was collected virtually by using the online Questionnaire Star. A non-probability, purposive sampling technique was used for a survey of 719 clinical nurses in Chinese public hospitals. Results: The total knowledge hiding score of 719 clinical nurses was (15.76±9.412). Clinical nurses' knowledge hiding behavior was positively correlated with psychological ownership of knowledge and job insecurity (r=0.574, P<0.01; r=0.309, P<0.01) and negatively correlated with positive emotional climate of the team (r=-0.194, P<0.01). Bootstrap test results showed that the 95% CI of the indirect effect of psychological ownership of knowledge between job insecurity and knowledge hiding was 0.075 to 0.186, with a significant mediating effect, which accounted for 55.31% of the total effect. Conclusion: Team emotional climate and job insecurity are influential factors in nurses' knowledge hiding behavior, where job insecurity has an indirect positive effect on knowledge hiding through psychological ownership of knowledge. Healthcare organizations can reduce the knowledge hiding behavior of clinical nurses and achieve knowledge sharing within the organization by breaking the psychological ownership of clinical nurses' knowledge and creating a multidimensional and safe work environment.

Abstract: Objective: This study investigated the effect of heparinized saline flushed catheter on preventing catheter-related thrombosis (CRT) among cancer patients received peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) for chemotherapy. Background: CRT is a common and serious complication when using PICC, which is one of the most commonly used vascular access devices for drug infusion, intravenous nutrition, and chemotherapy. Methods: This prospective, paralled-group trial enrolled 300 cancer patients received chemotherapy who were randomly assigned to the intervention (n=150) or control (n=150) group. Besides the basic procedure of PICC combined with IC- ECG and B-mode ultrasound imaging, heparinized saline flushed catheters were used in the intervention group, while normal saline flushed ones were used in the control group. Hemorheology tests and tip sites measurements were used in outcome evaluation, and the incidences of CRT and other complications. In additions, thromboelastogram (TEG) were used to measure thrombus elastic before and one week after PICC. Results: 148 patients in the intervention group and 138 patients in the control group finished PICC and follow-ups, which indicating longer duration and more completion of PICC with better catheter tip positioning in the intervention group. Intervention subjects showed significant lower incidences of CRT and other complications (phlebitis, catheter blockage, catheter prolapse, and local infection) (P <.05). In additons, our proposed method may reduce CRT incidence via significantly improving blood circulation among patients received chemotherapy via PICC. Conclusion: Heparinized saline flushed catheter may increase chemotherapy completion quality via PICC, reduce the risk of catheter-related thrombosis complications, and reduce CRT incidence via improving blood circulation. Conclusions: This proposed method can be easily introduced to prolong the duration of the placement and improve the blood circulation of cancer patients received PICC.

Abstract: [Objective] A randomized controlled trial was conducted to investigate a systematic intervention to improve medication safety among elderly people in the community. [Methods] 150 community elderly patients with chronic diseases were randomly selected and divided into intervention group and control group. In addition to conventional medication safety guidance methods, multidisciplinary team cooperation mode was added to the intervention group. After 2 months of intervention, the knowledge, belief and practice of elderly patients with chronic diseases in the two groups were compared and analyzed. [Results]After intervention, inter-group and intra-group comparison of the intervention results showed that the total scores of knowledge, attitude and behavior KAP of the elderly with chronic diseases in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance (p < 0.05), and the overall drug safety of the elderly in the community increased from a low level (47.3%) before intervention to a high level (95.8%) after intervention.. [Conclusion] The overall level of medication safety of the elderly in the chronic disease clinic of a town health center in Zhuhai is low. The drug safety guidance program of multidisciplinary team cooperation can effectively improve the medication safety of the elderly with chronic diseases in the community, and has a wide popularization.
