Abstract: Social and cultural factors play crucial roles in shaping urban transformations and developments. The differences in social development in different regions and stages make urban morphology varied but traceable. Taking Tours, France, as an example, this paper applies the Conzenian urban morphology method to analyse the evolution characteristics of urban morphology, street profile and plots under the influence of different social and cultural backgrounds and planning thoughts. Based on this analysis, the research analyses the impact of cultural differences between the Western and Chinese societies on urban morphology. The conclusions are as follows: 1. Tours has undergone a sequence of urban development patterns, including the historical core area, high-density residential zones, and garden suburbs, demonstrating temporal and spatial coherence in its urban form. 2. The urban forms in different periods are the results of the combined effects of factors such as religion, society, technology, and planning trends. 3. The significant social and cultural transformations in China after the reform and opening-up have caused a rupture in urban morphology, leading to the destruction of historical urban fabric. 4. In the context of future planning, it is important to emphasize the coherence of urban form development and pay attention to the property parcel scale as a reflection of social relationships. Additionally, it is recommended to adapt the Conzenian approach.

Abstract: Bohai A Oilfield is the first fluvial facies oilfield in the Bohai Sea to be developed using a horizontal well layering system. It has the characteristics of thin single sand reservoir thickness, large differences in reserve scale, rapid lateral changes in reservoirs, and staggered stacking of multiple river channel sand bodies in the vertical direction. In production, it is characterized by rapid decline in ground pressure, rapid increase in water content, and large decrease in oil production. In order to achieve efficient development of Bohai A Oilfield, based on the dissection of single sand body configuration and the study of internal injection-production connectivity within the reservoir, a systematic optimization and balanced adjustment of injection-production principles has been developed. By changing the pressure gradient field between injection wells and production wells, a six character fine injection-production balance adjustment strategy of "infill, increase, control, limit, guide, and drive" has been implemented, resulting in a 3.6% increase in overall oilfield recovery rate, We have achieved the goal of continuously stable production of 1 million cubic meters in Bohai A Oilfield for 12 consecutive years. The production practice of Bohai A Oilfield has proven that the injection production balance adjustment technology has effectively solved the main challenges faced in the development of Bohai A Oilfield, enriched the means and methods for efficient development of offshore complex river facies oilfields, and has positive reference significance for the development of other similar oilfields.

Abstract: Recently, China's rural tourism has shown a strong development trend, but there are common issues such as homogenization, limited experience and engagement, and insufficient appeal, which lead to rural tourism development in a bottleneck state. There are numerous research on immersive tourism, "Metaverse" technology, and their functions, but few on how to implement the deep integration of Metaverse technology and rural tourism to fully achieve the complete immersion effect. This study investigates the possibility of coupling development of rural tourism and "Metaverse" in multiple aspects, proposes new elements of coupling development including: people, things, field, technology, and relationship, and summarizes a new model of integration development from the dimensions of sense, time and space, narrative, social interaction, and artistic conception. According to the findings, the "Metaverse" can open up new avenues for the development of immersive rural tourism. Although more study into fusion technology and application modes is required, it is anticipated that this coupling path would effectively enhance the immersive experience and attraction of rural tourist, raise the multiplier effect of rural tourism, and accelerate the pace of rural revitalization.

Abstract: As a typical tall spatial building, airport terminals often adopt curtain wall structures with dense personnel and high air conditioning loads. Therefore, it is necessary to set up reasonable airflow organization to ensure indoor air conditioning effectiveness and reduce energy consumption. The traditional mixed air supply method has many limitations when applied to tall spaces in airport terminals, and the air supply effect and economy are not good. Numerical simulation was used to analyze the use of cylindrical attached jet air supply in the waiting and welcoming halls of airport terminals. The results showed that the use of attached air supply and top side air supply in the terminal area has a more uniform distribution of velocity and temperature fields, and this scheme is more energy-efficient; IF the waiting hall area only adopts top side air supply, the total air supply volume needs to be increased by 93% to achieve the same indoor temperature distribution. The living room area adopts a cylindrical attached air supply method, which can achieve a more uniform temperature and velocity distribution with a smaller air supply volume compared to a mixed air supply method. Efficient attached air supply for airport terminals provides a new design concept for air conditioning in tall spaces, with significant energy-saving effects.

Abstract: Urban parks are the main recreational places for the elderly, and the rationality of its design is related to the quality of life and health of the elderly. Based on the observation of recreation behavior of the elderly in the activity spaces of Nanchang People's Park, the frequency distribution of recreation behavior of the elderly in each type of space is analyzed by cluster analysis. It is found that: 1) The abundant environmental facilities in the hard-paved square area have important effects on the promotion of the dynamic behavior of the elderly. Static behavior is more likely to occur around water landscapes. Green landscapes such as trees and lawns have less impact on behavior. 2) Dynamic behavior occurs mostly in open, hard paved and equipped spaces. Static behavior occurs frequently in areas adjacent to water and with landscape. 3) There are more types of behavior among the elderly in open and well-equipped spaces. Accessibility and greenery have little impact on behavior, but behaviors such as sitting, resting, and stopping are related to water landscape. Meanwhile, the leisure behavior has little to do with spatial characteristics. The recreation behavior of the elderly is obviously related to the activity space in urban parks, so as to provide references and guidance for urban parks planning and design.
