Abstract: Development is a category that began to be retaken after the Second World War and began to be used by Western countries at the same time that the idea of underdevelopment was born both in the regions and in the countries that are economically and socially lagged with respect to the nations on which there is a dependency. So then, it could be said that this category, that began to be seen from the West, created a kind of manipulation of the forms of existence of different cultures and societies at the same time that it indicated a standardization of what development should be, and that it basically does emphasis on economics, especially on consumption. That is, there is development of a person, a family, a culture or society depending on its purchasing power and therefore the consumption that it can generate. There is a development, that of Latin America. This text addresses the historical context that the idea of development has had, as well as evolution and progress, from the social sciences and from other areas of human knowledge, laying the foundations from ancient Greece, through the Middle Ages, the renaissance, and modernity, to reach a current perspective. In addition, an empirical contribution is made with quantitative contributions that help to better understand the social and economic reality of Latin America.

Abstract: Balanced fertilization based on indigenous soil nutrient status and crop demand is imperative for efficient nutrient management and enhancing crop yield. A field experiment was conducted at Kersa District, Southwestern Ethiopia during 2019/20 cropping season to determine the effects of nutrient combinations on nutrient recovery fraction, physiological efficiency and economic benefits of maize. The treatments includes T1 [Control], T2 [NP], T3 [PKS (-N)], T4 [NKS (-P)], T5 [NPS (-K)], T6 [NPK (-S)], T7 [NPKS], T8 [NPKSZn (-B)], T9 [NPKSB (-Zn)] and T10 [NPKSZnB]. The treatments were arranged in randomized complete block design (RCBD) with four replications each. Maize grain yield, total (grain + straw) nutrient concentration and economic of fertilizer use were analyzed during experimentation. The data were analyzed using SAS 9.0 version software. The results indicated that grain yield, biomass yield and nutrient recovery fractions of maize responded significantly due to different mineral fertilizer combinations. Accordingly the maximum grain yield (8702.6kg ha-1) and biomass yield (20.1tha-1) were obtained from T8 treated with (N120 P40 K40 S20 Zn5 kgha-1), while the lowest grain yield (2028.5 kgha-1 and 2793.5 kgha-1) and biomass yield (5.6 tha-1 and 7.2 tha-1) were recorded from control and N-omitted plots, respectively. Compared with NP and control plots, application of NPKSZn produced 76.6% and 29.8% yield advantages, respectively. The maximum apparent recovery fraction of each nutrient was obtained from application of N120 P40 K40 S20 Zn5 kgha-1. Economic analysis showed, this treatment generate the highest net benefit of 80,364 ETB ha-1 (1$=42Birr) with acceptable marginal rate of return (MRR) (486.35%). Therefore, incorporating Zn with in major macronutrients (NPKS) is more important to increase maize production in the study area.

Abstract: Ethics is an instrument of the orientation of human beings, which allows selecting the bases that correspond to human dignity. However, it is constantly rethought according to the context in which it is considered. This phenomenon is particularly important in the science-technology relationship that is occurring in the digital context. In this environment, ethical dilemmas that threaten social development are occurring particularly rapidly. Consequently, this article aims to reflect on the dilemmas that arise in the science-technology relationship in the digital context. For the development of the article, the qualitative research paradigm was applied, which allowed, from the inductive and deductive, to identify the bases of the ethical dilemmas that arise in the digital environment in the science-technology relationship. The central idea of the research is that in the area of informatics and the digitalization to which it leads, a specific type of ethics is being born, which is not reduced to the simple delineation of the rules of conduct, but on the contrary, it supposes the inquiry about the real modifications that are taking place in the moral relations, referred to the decadence of old moral reasoning and the birth of new ones that define the objective behaviors that derive from the development of informatics.

Abstract: Nanotechnology is extremely important in the world of science. It serves as a link between bulk substance and the atomic scale. Nanорartiсles (Ns) are materials having a diameter ranging from 1 to 100 nm. Nanospheres can be created using three different methods: chemical, biological, and physical. Chemicals and solvents used in chemical procedures are toxic to the biological system and the atmosphere. Advancements in the molecular based study of matter at the nanoscale will assist to comprehend, analyze, estimate, and develop novel materials. Biological synthesis is comparable to reducing agents in that it is a bottom-up process. Biological synthesis, on the other hand, uses a natural byproduct to obtain a costly chemical that is used as a reducing agent in the production of metal and its oxide nanostructures. Plant components (such as carbohydrates, proteins, and coenzyme) have a remarkable ability to transform metal salts into nanoparticles. Linum usitatissimum was used to make barium oxide nanoparticles in this study because its polyphenols have strong antioxidant activity and other therapeutic properties. Linum usitatissimum has steroids, alkaloids phenolic compounds, flavonoids carbohydrates, in its phytochemical makeup. Linum usitatissimum prepare barium nanoparticles have improved antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial activities.
