Abstract: We have previously proposed a multiplex communication system in a neural network. However, this system is designed to force the network to communicate in a multiplexed manner, in which “codes” or “temporal sequences” are inevitably induced. This means that the network has a main loop and coding/decoding circuits, which are somewhat artificial. In this paper, we show that it is also possible to communicate without these artificial guidance aids by multiplexing in a 2D mesh-type neural network, where learning procedures are used to find paths from an originating neuron to a destination neuron. We also provide statistics from these neural networks to show that random sequences occur more frequently than non-random sequences.

Abstract: Nowadays data streams are more and more involved in the real industry. In this paper, the authors apply the data stream clustering to the electric power remote anomaly detection and propose a new data stream clustering algorithm based on density and grid (density-based data stream clustering algorithm, DBClustream). The double-frame analysis model is used in the proposed algorithm. In the online component, the authors optimize the initialization of the parameters for the K-means algorithm with a method based on density and grid and use the kernels to represent the micro clusters as the result of the online component. In the offline component, the time fading weight and the dynamic threshold to optimize the performance of the DENCLUE algorithm are proposed. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, both the evaluation of the anomaly detection and the evaluation of the data stream clustering are adopted. As the experiment result demonstrates, compared with the others algorithms, DBClustream can resolve the multi-density data stream and keep the high detection rate as well as the low false positive rate.

Abstract: In Tokyo Disney Park, the guests must reserve the seats by a lottery to view some shows. This paper proposes the robust feedback control system to solve the problem of the lottery system. The controlled variable is winning / losing to the guests who draw the lottery, and the control logic is ON/OFF-Type Discrete Variable Structure Controller, to compensate the uncertainty of a simulation to reproduce the lottery. The simulation that input data are made using many real data shows the effectiveness of the proposed method. Next, Neural Network Model predicts the controlled result. If the bad result is predicted, the staff of the lottery system is able to take an effective measure.

Abstract: In this paper, the ways of salary management system in the world is be fully concerned. Combing both with the characteristics of China railway industry and the pay policies made by China-railway corporation, a salary management system of China railway enterprises is established which meet the needs of some special characteristic, such as the complex personnel structure, the variety of salary structure and the disunity distribution system. Acrossing the core rules and logic checking, the automatic calculation and distribution of salary will be realized. At the same time, there will be an effectively integration between the railway financial and accounting management system, which used in the whole railway, and the salary management system. By this way, the salary vouchers can be automatic posted to realize the integration of human resource management and financial management business.

Abstract: The new generation of power metering system - i.e. Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) - is expected to enable remote reading, control, demand response and other advanced functions, based on the integration of a new two-way communication network, which will be referred as Smart Metering Network (SMN). In this paper, we focus on the design principles of multiple access control (MAC) protocols for SMN. First, we list several AMI applications and its benefits to the current power grid and user experience. Next, we introduces several features of SMN relevant to the design choice of the MAC protocols, including the SMN architecture and candidate communication technologies. After that, we propose some performance evaluation metrics, such as scalability issue, traffic types, delay and etc, and give a survey of the associated research issues for the SMN MAC protocols design. In addition, we also note progress within the new IEEE standardization task group (IEEE 802.11ah TG) currently working to create SMN standards, especially in the MAC protocols aspect.

Abstract: This paper proposes a model of integrated supply chain network for allocating subsidized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in a closed distribution system. Subsidized LPG is selected as a case study due to its specific product in Indonesia. Since 2007, the Indonesian government makes policy, namely energy conversion from kerosene to LPG. The main purpose of converting kerosene to LPG is to reduce subsidies on fuel oil. The distribution system consists of several filling stations, distributors and retailers. Currently, the distribution of subsidized LPG, does not flow smoothly because there will be a shortage or excess tubes in retailers mainly because it uses a closed distribution system. A closed distribution means that people who are eligible to buy subsidized LPG will be given a card for identifying them as a legal receiver of the LPG. The model is developed using mathematical approach with reference to previous transshipment study. Based on the developed model and by using a numerical example as a case study, the allocation of LPG from filling station to the distributors and from the distributor to the retailers with minimum distribution costs can be determined. LPG in some specific retailers is supplied by only one distributor which is authorized to distribute subsidized LPG on the retailers. However, this model has limitations to arrange the route filling and distribution route.
