Abstract: This paper conceptualizes entrepreneurship skills and opportunities for librarians in the field of library and information science. Characteristics of entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship education in Nigeria, Library and information science as a field of study It presents the librarian as an entrepreneur, entrepreneurship education in the field of library and information science, Skills needed in field of library and information science for Entrepreneurship, Areas of opportunities for a Librarian as an Entrepreneur in the field of librarianship. Challenges that are imminent with entrepreneurship practices by librarians which are: Economic Meltdown; Government Policies; Fear of competition and failure; Lack of entrepreneurial spirit; Problem of generating compelling business ideas; Poor Sources of fund; Poor Attitude of Librarians towards entrepreneurship; Excess workload on the librarian. The paper was concluded by the researchers with the following recommendations: Government should endeavour to make policies that are favourable to small scale businesses in the country so as to encourage entrepreneurship; Librarians that are trained in the field of librarianship should develop the spirit and endeavour to venture into the entrepreneurship areas so as to prevent other professionals from taking foods and opportunities from our tables; It is rightly stated that the sky is big enough to contain all the birds that are flying in it so therefore, irrespective of those who are already occupying positions in the entrepreneurship venture, up-coming librarians should not be afraid to delve into business venture after all competition brings about growth and development into the business world.Abstract: This paper conceptualizes entrepreneurship skills and opportunities for librarians in the field of library and information science. Abstract: The authors discuss a new reconfigurability of fragmentation phenomenon, technical-economic housing surfaces affecting the quality of life, likely to meet the constraints of the Inter sector of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism "CEAU" from the idea of build a residential dwelling in an urban environment on a divided surface for an adequate environment. The goal is to predict by a mathematical model of fractal fragmentation of surfaces with the natural element’s method coupled with Mandelbrot geometry. Although elevation in height is a solution, the management of the space built and developed is an open question. The simulation towards Africa of 2063, using a typical case of the city province of Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo of Sub-Saharan Africa justifies one of the trends which highlights a consistency between the projections of 2035 and reality with the use of the "Engineering Equations Solver" software. The approximated singularities obscure the admissible threshold at the limit interfaces in “Yakam Matrix ”; if cities are only demographically concentrated in rural areas with a rate of 2.25-3 m2 / inhabitant and one of the distances of a fragmented plot is equal to or greater than 7.5±2.5 meters according to the current trend of affected countries. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this work has four points: (i) The "Yakam Matrix" in the habitat; (ii) The reconfigurability of the fragmentation coupling by fractal geometry and natural elements; (iii) Formulation and coupling of numerical methods and fractal geometry; (iv) predictive mathematical modeling.Abstract: The authors discuss a new reconfigurability of fragmentation phenomenon, technical-economic housing surfaces affecting the quality of life, likely to meet the constraints of the Inter sector of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism "CEAU" from the idea of build a residential dwelling in an urban environment on a divided surface for an adequa...Show More
Abstract: The article analyzes the potential offered by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in light of their contributions to Education Sciences. It is based on the advantages in the social appropriation of this technological resource, as well as the axes that must be valued when an impact is intended on the development of a subject in a learning process. The objective is to reflect on the use of computer technologies in the educational teaching process of the contemporary Cuban school, where technologies act as a mediator in the relationship of the student with the group, the teacher and the learning objects. The use of theoretical and empirical research methods, such as the analysis of guiding documents, the systematization of references, bases and theoretical foundations, as well as the historical and logical analysis of the training process with the mediation of ICT, allowed to determine the conceptual nuclei that It is described in the work and the proposal proposed to be developed by the teachers, considering that its impact on education fosters one of the greatest changes in the social sphere. As a result of the research, conclusions are reached where the fundamentals for the use of technologies in the classroom are exposed from a well-organized, planned and controlled process by the teacher.Abstract: The article analyzes the potential offered by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in light of their contributions to Education Sciences.
