Abstract: Three hydrophobic ionic liquids (IL) 1-octyl-3-methylimidazole hexafluorophosphate ([OMIM]PF6) (1-butyl-3-methylimidazole hexafluorophosphate ([BMIM]PF6),1-hexyl-3-methyl-imidazole hexafluoro-phosphate ([HMIM]PF6), were coated by Fe3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles with core-shell structure to prepare magnetic solid phase extraction agent (Fe3O4@SiO2@IL) and establish a new method of magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) coupled with Fluorescence spectrophotometery for separation/analysis of safranin T (ST). The results showed that safranin T was adsorbed rapidly by Fe3O4@SiO2@[OMIM]PF6 and eluted by ethanol., pre-concentration factor of the proposed method was 20-fold. Under the optimal conditions the linear range, detection limit (DL), correlation coefficient (R) and relative standard deviation (RSD) were found to be 0.30-130.00 μg L-1, 0.05μg L-1, 0.9998 and 0.35% (n=3, c=10.00 μg L-1), respectively. The Fe3O4@SiO2 NPs can be used repeatedly for 10 times. This proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of safranin T in food samples.

Abstract: Hydrophobic ionic liquids (IL) 1-octyl-3-methylimidazole hexafluorophosphate ([OMIM] PF6) coated Fe3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles was employed in magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) method coupled with ultraviolet visible spectrophotometry for the analysis of safranineT (ST). The results showed that safranineT was adsorbed fast by Fe3O4@SiO2@[OMIM] PF6 and eluted by ethanol. Different parameters, such as; pH, temperature, ionic strength, eluent type, volume and temperature were studied. This method introduced wide linear range of 15-350 ng mL-1, the correlation coefficient was 0.9991, the equations of calibration graph was A (absorbance) = 0.04+0.13c (g mL-1), the detection limit was 0.37 ng mL-1 (RSD = 5.1%). The current method could be applied for the analysis of ST in food samples with satisfactory results.

Abstract: Increased concern with environmental issues, the health of operators of condoms and the consumers of wood, and the reuse of these treated woods after their use, has generated the need to develop less aggressive condoms treatments And the environment with sustainable principles. Thus, the aim of research has been to develop environmentally correct and effective products against the attack of biodeteriorating agents. One viable alternative containing interesting inhibiting properties is Tall Oil, which is a natural oil from, renewable-source. Tall Oil is a by-product of kraft pulp production. This byproduct is not a pure triglyceride compound, but a mixture of fatty acids, resin and unsaponifiable acids. The use of Tall Oil and its derivatives as a protective agent in wood has been considered promising. It can be used pure, whether crude or distilled; and also mixtures with efficient biocides, but leachable as boron. However research is still needed including the characterization of Tall Oil products, the determination of the protective agent and the environmental aspects.

Abstract: The objective of this study was to determine the potassium (K) release kinetics of sandy soil sample representative soil of Egyptian new reclaimed areas as affected by treatments of different rates of compost and chemical fertilizers applied individually or mixture of both type sand the effect of two irrigation regimes i.e. 80 and 60% of water requirements IR. Four mathematical models (power function, Elovich, parabolic diffusion and first-order) were used to fitted the data describe K desorption reactions involving 168-hr cumulative reaction time. Comparison of the models using the coefficient of determination (r2) and the standard error of the estimate (SE) indicated that the Elovich and the power function equations overall displayed the best fitted ones. The first-order rate and for less extent, parabolic diffusion equation were less fitted to describe the kinetic data. The constants of the best fitted models represent the rate of K release indicated that all treatments applied to soil gave high and significant increase in rate of K release compared to the control (untreated soil). According to the same constants values, the organic fertilizer applied was the lowest one, meanwhile the chemical one was the highest values, the mixture treatments values, however, were in between the chemical and organic treatments. In addition, the 80% of IR gave the best water management in having both high K adsorption from used soil and significant K uptake by corn plant.

Abstract: 5-Amino-3-(4-chlorophenylamino)-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitrile 3 was prepared in high yield from the reaction of hydrazine hydrate with known 2-[(4-chlorophenylamino)(methylthio)methylene]malononitrile 2a (which was prepared from reaction of 2-[bis(methylthio)methylene]malononitrile 1 with p-Chloroaniline) under reflux in ethanol. The compound 3 was utilized as a key intermediate for the synthesis of pyrazolo[1, 5-a]pyrimidines 4a-b, 5a-c and 6 by reactions with some of ketene-S, S-and N, S-acetals. The antibacterial and antifungal activities, as well cytotoxicity against Breast cancer cells (MCF7) of some selected compounds are also reported.
