Abstract: Vocational education is different from general education in that it has a distinct "cross-border" characteristic of combining educational needs with industrial needs. The intelligent production mode has led to a major change in the demand for talents in the industry. The business community also emphasizes that enterprises do not deliberately pursue the high education of employees, but pay more attention to work experience, especially focusing on complex skills such as planning, judgment and decision-making, and analysis of complex systems. However, the traditional vocational education mode cannot effectively cultivate such ability. Research has shown that the knowledge required for work must be obtained in specific work contexts and holistic work processes, and classroom teaching in vocational education should be "situational oriented" and "scientific oriented". At present, research both domestically and internationally has paid less attention to the specific classroom design of vocational education. This article proposes a problem oriented instructional design method for the talent needs of intelligent enterprises, and applies it specifically to the instructional design of vocational education for primary electricians. The actual teaching design for one class hour is used as an example to demonstrate the specific application of this method. It has been proven that this method can effectively achieve the established vocational education goals, vividly mobilize learning enthusiasm, and have a solid grasp and memory of knowledge.

Abstract: Background: Oxygen is one of the most essential elements for life, so nurse must be familiar for its administration and its potential hazards. Oxygen therapy is useful when it is performed with appropriate dosage, but when it is used on the other way side, it has substantial adverse side effects secondary to its beneficial characteristics. The purpose of the study is to explore the outcome of structured training about oxygen therapy on the nurses' knowledge and attitude. Method: Quantitative one group pre-post study design was applied using self-administered questionnaire. Data collection was conducted at pre-training, immediate after training & three months late. Repeated measures ANOVA was used to analyze the data by Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS, Version 26) software. Result: The overall average score of knowledge of the nurses during the pre-intervention period was 45%. The level of knowledge of nurses at immediate post intervention increased in all the knowledge items with an overall score of 77% and declined slightly after three months to 62%. The average attitude score of the nurses during the pre-intervention period was 71.6%, and at the immediate post intervention time was increased to 80.2%then after three months it reached to 80.5 %. The result displayed that knowledge scores were higher at immediate post intervention than pre-intervention (p<0.001), after 3-months, than pre-intervention (p<0.001), and immediate post intervention than 3 months later (p<0.001). The tendency of knowledge scores about oxygen therapy was perceived to be quadratic across the three time periods (p<0.001). Conclusion: Based on the outcomes of this study, most of the nurses had an acceptable knowledge and attitude toward oxygen administration after applying teaching intervention.

Abstract: Under the network era environment, vocational college students are more active in thinking, their horizons are more broadened, their ideas update quickly, and they can learn in in a variety of ways. But it is easy for students to over-rely on the Internet. When encountering problems, many students first think of Internet tools such as Baidu search, lack of independent thinking and practical ability. Some students are completely addicted to the Internet and do not want to communicate with others in reality. Some become "mobile phone addicted", and some become depressed and ill. Teachers' information advantage in classroom teaching and the role of answering doubts no longer exist. Especially in recent years, due to the influence of the policy of individual enrollment, enrollment expansion and batch selection, the source of students in higher vocational colleges continues to decrease and the quality is obviously low, and the problems of students' declining learning initiative and poor self-restraint ability become more prominent. This paper discusses how to improve the management level of classroom teaching in higher vocational colleges from five aspects: changing the assessment method of courses; formulating and strictly implementing classroom discipline; changing the teaching mode, making students become the main body of class; Teaching and learning promote each other, teachers and students progress together; making reasonable use of network teaching platform, and implementing online and offline teaching.

Abstract: The study was designed to find out the current learning process in vocational education, the challenges of learning vocational education, and strategies for improving the learning of vocational education in senior secondary school for skill development and self-reliance. Three research questions were asked and three hypotheses were tested at (0.05) level of significance. The cross-sectional survey design was adopted for the study and data was collected through a structured questionnaire for students and teachers. The population for the study comprises all the students and vocational education teachers in the study area with a sample of 50 respondents, made up of 30 students and 20 teachers from 8 secondary schools which offer vocational technical subjects. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics with the IBM SPSS software while the t-test was used to test the hypotheses. Results of the findings revealed that most vocational subjects are rather being taught theoretically without adequate practical lessons to balance the learning processes, due to lack of adequate training facilities and equipment, shortage of vocational teachers, inadequate funding of vocational education, poor planning, the societal misconception on vocational education amongst others. It is therefore recommended that Government should improve the infrastructure and equipment by adequate funding of vocational education; Guidance and counselling units should be put in place in all skill acquisition centres to encourage students to study vocational and technical education according to their aptitude while technical and vocational teachers at all level should be retrained to fill the gap between school training and industries. The parents should be encouraged to allow their wards to choose their careers according to their aptitude.
