Abstract: Objectives: This study was carried out to evaluate the role of LASER on early loading of implant after expansion of class IV maxillary edentulous ridge. Patients & Methods: Twelve postmenopausal females having class IV maxillary edentulous ridge seeking dental implants were included in this study. They were divided into 2 equal groups 12 in each. All patients had dental implants after the ridge expansion by osteotomes, while study group only received three LASER sessions after insertion of the implants. The Implant stability and bone density were evaluated, immediately, 2 & 6 months postoperatively. The collected data were analyzed by t-test and Anova. Results: Immediately after surgery, the mean values of bone density and implant stability were 944.38±74.52 & 53.25±1.67 for control group and 970.00±86.68 & 55.13±3.23 for study group respectively. At 2 & 6 months postoperatively, the mean values of bone density and implant stability in the study group showed a statistically significant increase (p = 0.001) compared with the control group.
