Abstract: The aspire of the study were to the effect of wheat crop row sowing on income of farmers, in Wayu Tuka Woreda East Wollaga Zone in Ethiopia. Wheat crop sowing is a highly valuable grain for Ethiopian people both in production and in consumption. The objective of the research was to describe the factors affecting adoption and intensity of wheat row sowing in the study area. The study was based on cross sectional research which was included both qualitative and quantitative research approach. The data were collected from total 135 respondents selected from three kebels of Wayu Tuka Woerda by using random sampling method. From the total 135 respondents 82 were wheat row sowing adopters while 53 were non wheat row sowing adopters. Both primary and secondary data used and analysed using descriptive statistics and logit model. The software used for data entry and analysis were STATA14.2. The results show that about 61% of the respondents are users of wheat row sowing whereas 39% can be classified as non-adopters of wheat row sowing. The empirical Results revealed that age, credit access and agricultural input use of household negatively influenced decision to adopt wheat row sowing while accesses to technology, total annual income, access to training and availability of labour force were positively influenced the decision to adopt wheat row sowing. Finally, wheat row sowing has significant impact on farmer’s income increment. It is better to encourage farmer households as they actively participant in wheat row sowing technology and support them by giving training, supplying agricultural inputs and adopting new technology for them with adequate skills for enhancing their annual income and development of the country economy.

Abstract: Horizontal well technology can effectively increase the flow area of oil and gas wells, which in turn increases the production per well. However, horizontal wells also bring serious sand-out problems while increasing oil and gas well production. Offshore oil and gas wells are more expensive to develop and in order to provide production cycle they all carry out prior sand control to prevent the well from being scrapped due to sand out. At present, the horizontal well gravel filling process is mostly used offshore, which is a complex process and involves the cooperation of many parties. The process of horizontal well gravel packing operation is less standardized due to the influence of drilling platform, well condition and marine environment. This paper analyzes the advantages, disadvantages and adaptability of the operation method of vessel support and the operation method of platform support. The study of standardization of processes such as equipment arrangement, equipment fixation, and construction process under the two operation modes is proposed. The focus is on the equipment arrangement and fixation under the ship operation mode, while the standard practice of emergency evacuation of ships is proposed. Without considering the variability of the marine platform, the design of equipment arrangement under the horizontal well gravel fill dependent platform operation mode is studied. The application in the field and the analysis of the timeliness prove that the equipment arrangement standard under the platform-dependent operation mode meets the requirements of offshore oilfield construction and can provide a reference for the standardization of gravel packing and sand prevention completion.

Abstract: Energy is the strategic resource for the economic and social development of countries along the Belt and Road. The outbreak of COVID-19 and the geopolitical conflict between Russia and Ukraine have created important impacts on the energy supply chain and energy governance. The Belt and Road regions covers the Asian, European and African continents, including not only countries and regions rich in oil and gas resources, such as Russia, West Asia and Central Asia, but also involving important global energy consumption areas, such as China and India. The paper analyzed the energy production and energy consumption structure of Belt and Road regions. Following that, the paper analyzed the development of energy governance of Belt and Road regions, and stated the new challenges in terms of the geopolitical risks, increasing energy market competition, and common energy market for the countries along the Belt and Road. Finally, the paper put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the energy governance of the Belt and Road regions which include strengthening energy cooperation mechanism, building energy resilient supply network, accelerating the development of a common regional energy market, improving clean energy cooperation. All these strategies will help to improve energy security of countries along “Belt and Road”, and sustain healthy and stable development of the national economy.

Abstract: Horizontal wells are an important technology to increase the production by expanding the reservoir drainage area to improving the economic efficiency of oilfield development. However, there are some urgent problems in developing bottom water reservoirs in horizontal wells, the most prominent one is bottom water breakthrough. C-AICD absorbs the advantages of ICD (Inflow Control Device) and AICD (Automatic Inflow Control Device). In the early stage of production, it mainly reflects the characteristics of ICD, which can balance the production profile along the horizontal production section and slow down the bottom water breakthrough. In the middle and late stage of production, it reflects the characteristics of AICD, which can slow down the bottom water breakthrough. However, there is still a lack of practical and effective theory to describe the principle of C-AICD water control completion device. In this paper, a C-AICD water control completion production prediction model for horizontal wells in bottom water reservoirs is proposed, and the applicability of C-AICD water control completion device is carried out for the five influencing factors of crude oil viscosity, formation permeability, permeability grading, production allocation, and horizontal well length. The results show that the lower the crude oil viscosity and the shorter the horizontal well length, the lower the water content, and the formation permeability, permeability grading and production allocation have limited influence on the water content.

Abstract: The exploitation potential of natural gas hydrate is huge. Many countries in the world have carried out research and exploration on the key technologies of natural gas hydrate exploitation. At present, depressurization production of natural gas hydrate is mainly adopted. Due to the limited area of offshore platforms and the limited artificial lift options, gas lift technology, as a mature artificial lift method, has been widely applied in onshore and offshore oil and gas fields, but has not been applied in hydrate reservoir. In this paper, the gas lift technology is proposed as the main means of hydrate depressurization production, and the optimization design of gas lift technology parameters of hydrate reservoir is carried out on the basis of the optimization of multiphase pipe flow calculation model. The calculation results show that the gas lift technology can significantly reduce the bottom hole pressure of the wellbore and can be effectively used for depressurization and drainage of the hydrate reservoir. With the increase of the depth of the gas lift string, the gas injection required to achieve the same bottom hole flow pressure will decrease continuously. In the initial stage of the test production of the hydrate reservoir, attention should be paid to optimizing the depressurization rate to avoid the phenomenon of freezing block near the well of the hydrate reservoir and the secondary generation of the hydrate in the wellbore.
