Abstract: The membrane wall is one of the important parts in the boiler industry. It is a pipe-plate structure; The length of the pipe is much longer than it is outer diameter. The chemical reactions of the liquid inside the boilers lead to corrosion problem of the membrane wall. In order to protect the membrane wall from corrosion, overlaying weld should be applied. The structure of the membrane wall has low stiffness and can be easily deformed. Therefore, for automatic overlaying weld, a sensor is required to ensure the distance between the welding torch and the membrane wall. In this paper, a tracking contact sensor based on the potentiometer is introduced for membrane wall pipes. The proposed sensor is composed of three displacement detectors. The left and right ones detect the position deviation between the welding torch and the pipe in the left and right sides, respectively. The middle one detects the deviation between the torch and the pipe in the middle point. Hence, based on the negative feedback from the sensor, the torch position will be adjusted. Finally, the real-time tracking of the torch to the membrane wall is realized and the problem of welding position deviation due to the membrane wall deformation is determined.

Abstract: More and more suppliers in fresh food supply chain expand online channels using fresh food e-commerce platform, forming a dual-channel supply chain model. The competition of market resources will lead to channel conflict in the dual-channel fresh food supply chain. The level of service is one of the important reasons for the conflict in the fresh food supply chain. Service is an important factor influencing the shopping decision of consumers. This paper studies a dual-channel supply chain consisting of a fresh food supplier and a fresh food retailer. The supplier wholesale fresh food to the retailer while developing its own online channel. In this paper, the Stackelberg game model is used to solve the equilibrium state of service level between the supplier and the retailer in the dual-channel supply chain. Both the supplier and the retailer aim to maximize profits. The supplier is the game leader. It first decides the wholesale price and the service level of the online channel. The retailer is the follower. It makes decisions based on the supplier’s decisions. The study found that the supplier and the retailer can attract more customers by improving service level, thus increasing profits. Weighing the relationship between service level and operation cost is a major problem in operation.

Abstract: With the undergoing technological revolution in education, adapting recommender systems to the personalized e-learning is an emerging topic in the education sector. Detecting the student model offers a potential to recommend a learning material that is adequate to the student progress. Accordingly, the learning objects and hypermedia can be adapted to each individual student to meet the personalized learning needs. This paper proposes a framework for applying recommender systems in personalized e-learning domain. Furthermore, the recommender system previous examples, opportunities, and associated challenges are discussed.

Abstract: Facing the new situation of global energy restructuring, occupying the highland of future industry competition and environmental protection, the major developed countries in the world will develop the electric vehicle industry to the national strategic level, and thus the electric vehicle has become the focus of competition among transnational automobile enterprises. In addition to ensuring the power performance of the vehicle, electric vehicles should also satisfy the safety and comfort of passengers and ensure the integrity of cargo transportation. Therefore, it is necessary to study the ride comfort and handling stability of electric vehicles. In this paper, the whole vehicle model is established by ADAMS/Car software, and the ride comfort simulation analysis is carried out. ADAMS/Car software is used to build the models of front suspension subsystem, power assembly subsystem, body subsystem, rear suspension subsystem, tire subsystem and steering subsystem, and then the models of each subsystem are assembled into the whole vehicle rigid body model. The elastomer model of the control arm is generated by setting MNF file, and the rigid-flexible coupling model of the control arm is established by replacing the rigid model of the control arm with the elastomer model. The ride comfort of the rigid-flexible coupling model is simulated and analyzed. The total weighted magnitude is 116.2646. When the speed of the electric vehicle is 40 km/h, the passenger comfort is quite uncomfortable.

Abstract: Many studies discussed different numerical representations of DNA sequences. One naive approach for exploring the nature of a DNA sequence is to assign numerical values (or scales) to the nucleotides and then proceed with standard time series methods. The analysis will depend actually on the particular assignment of numerical values.Discriminant analysis aims to examine the dependence of one qualitative (classification) variable from several quantitative variables according to number of variations of qualitative variable we can distinction. Actually, there is a discriminant analysis for two or more groups. The essential work of discriminant analysis is to get the optimal assigning rules that will minimize the likelihood of incorrect classification of elements. In this paper, we discussed the discriminant analysis of the first, second, third and fourth eigenvalues of variance covariance matrix of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) for numerical values representation of DNA sequences of five organisms, Human, E. coli, Rat, Wheat and Grasshopper. The analysis is based on three methods (All Variables, Forward Selection and Backward Selection) of discrimination. Functions have been reached whereby discrimination is made among organisms under consideration. Empirical studies are conducted to show the value of our point of view and the applications based on. Therefore, we recommended that, other empirical studies should be done for other organisms and statistical methods by using the point of view adopted here. Also, aspects stated here must be used in an applied manner for DNA sequences discrimination.
