Abstract: Universal interest in organizations’ role and their impact on society and rising prospects of investors, consumers, employees and local communities about the importance of this role and its impact on society, which made many governments, non-governmental organizations and local communities seek more transparency and accountability; provided that it is not limited to daily operations of organizations of any nature, but it should include the extent of impact those operations have on society. This research aimed at shedding light on the concept and importance of social responsibility accounting and determining the extent of applying it in Lebanese banks in order to deal with the deficiency in outputs of the accounting system, which is reflected in financial statements, by including information about social responsibilities and revealing the impact of disclosing it in financial statements. To achieve the goals of the research, a questionnaire has been devised to be distributed among employees in the middle and high administrations (managers, heads of accounting departments and employees of the accounting department) in Lebanese banks, where 200 questionnaires were distributed in the banks. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to make various statistical tests to analyze the outputs in order to reach results and present recommendations which may be good to approach the deficiency in outputs of the accounting system. The research yielded some important findings, mainly that managements of banks in Lebanon are aware of the concept of social responsibility; however, managements of banks in Lebanon do not develop relations with the local community except in certain domains.

Mapping of Barrier Option Pricing: A Co-citation Analysis

Abstract: Barrier options refer to the options that are limited in the process of their entry into force. Its purpose is to control the investors' gains or losses within a certain range. Barrier options are a special form of options. Their emergence provides a more effective way for risk managers. In recent years, barrier options have developed rapidly in the financial market. Compared with ordinary options, their trading methods are more flexible, their returns are in line with investors' wishes, and their trading prices are cheaper. They are popular with investors. Therefore, how to price barrier options has become an important research hotspot in the financial field. There is a very obvious phenomenon that the publications about barrier option pricing increasing year by year. Based on the literature data retrieved from Web of Science, this paper adopts the scientometrics analysis method to make a literature review on the pricing of barrier options, an analysis of current research situation, a co-citation analysis of literature, new trends and developments in the research field, and an analysis of sudden detection in the research field. It is concluded that “Business Finance” is the most popular subject in the field of barrier option pricing, and “Quantitative Finance” is the most frequently published journal. Among many countries in the world, USA has the largest number of publications in this field. In the field of barrier option pricing, “China University of Hong Kong” has the largest number of publications, and “general valuation framework”, “flexible binomial option pricing model”, “model uncertainty”, “evy processes”, “early exercise boundary”, “model” are the main research fields of barrier option pricing. Math Finance and Merton RC are the most influential journals and authors in the field of barrier option pricing. On the whole, the research method in this paper provided a fresh research approach to assess the performance of barrier option pricing research. The findings may help for the new researchers to pick out the most relevant articles, journals, institutions and seize the research frontier in barrier option pricing field.

Executive Poverty Experience and Corporate Social Responsibility Performance——An Empirical Study Based on Shanghai and Shenzhen Listed Companies

Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy, various environmental pollution, cottage food and consumer discrimination have caused frequent social responsibility problems, which have caused extremely bad effects on society and brought about the sustainable operation of China's economy. Case studies and theoretical studies have shown that the early experience of executives in the core leadership of the enterprise can have an impact on corporate decision-making. Taking 2012-2015 Shanghai and Shenzhen Listed companies as the research object, this paper studies the impact of executive poverty experience on the performance of corporate social responsibility. The results show that: executive poverty experience is positively correlated with performance of corporate social responsibility, the higher the poverty experience, the better corporate social responsibility is. Compared with state-owned enterprises, executive poverty experience has more influence on the performance of social responsibility of non-state-owned enterprises. This paper studies the motivation of corporate social responsibility from the new perspective, which is helpful to further grasp the influencing factors of corporate social responsibility and enrich the theoretical system of corporate social responsibility.

Abstract: From the perspective of issuers and investors, this paper analyzes the issue of corporate income tax and turnover tax related to perpetual bonds. From the perspective of tax planning, the tax-saving effect of perpetual bonds recognized as liabilities is considerable. However, there are duplicate tax issues for investors' income. In order to eliminate the problem of double taxation, this paper proposes that the investor's perpetual debt income should be treated as tax-free income. From the perspective of turnover tax, investors should pay VAT regardless of whether they can issue special VAT invoices. However, the issue fee and underwriting income of the issuer's interest expenses and financing are not deductible.
