Abstract

A scale that will be used to measure undergraduates perception on cheating in an examination was developed by the researchers. Five hundred university of Ibadan undergraduate students were used to standardize this scale. The scale consists of thirty items with high and acceptable psychometric properties. It is suitable for identifying factors that promote examination malpractice and will be useful in developing policies that will minimize or eradicate examination malpractice. It is good in determining the predisposition of undergraduate students/individuals to examination malpractice.
