Specifically, the study was determined the present quantity consumes and investigates factors influencing the choice for honey consumption in the study area. Kedamay weyane, Hawelti, Adihaki and Hadnet were purposely selected in Mekelle City due to availability of honey market. Clustering and simple random sampling technique was employed in selecting 398 households. Both descriptive and quantitative statistics were used.
