The Aqua-Agri Capsule is an eco-friendly, biodegradable bio-capsule developed to promote sustainable agriculture and fisheries through efficient delivery of organic nutrients and beneficial biological components. The gelatine-coated capsule, measuring about 5 mm in length and 2.5 mm in height, enables controlled release and easy application. It is formulated with a balanced combination of natural resources, including banana peel extract, seaweeds, nitrogen-fixing bacteria from plant root nodules, Azolla (mosquito fern), black soldier fly (BSF) larvae biomass, and organic mixed waste. Banana peel extract and seaweeds supply essential nutrients, micronutrients, and natural growth stimulants that enhance plant growth and soil health. Nitrogen-fixing bacteria improve nitrogen availability, reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers. Azolla contributes as a natural biofertilizer and protein source, while BSF larvae provide high-quality protein and lipids that support rapid growth and improved health in fish. The inclusion of organic mixed waste supports waste recycling and circular bioeconomy practices. Designed for dual use in agriculture and aquaculture, the Aqua-Agri Capsule offers improved nutrient efficiency, enhanced growth performance, and reduced environmental impact. This innovation repre-sents a low-cost, sustainable biotechnology approach aligned with organic farming, fisheries development, and blue economy principles.
